BAKER'S RUB

  Baker's Rub is a sweet heat dry rub. It is gluten free, vegan, and allergen friendly. Only raw spices and brown sugar are used. The flavor profile is reminiscent of that good ole' sticky barbecue you had that one time that had just the perfect amount of heat at the end. You remember? Sure you do. You start to salivate a little bit thinking about it? I did. That is Baker's Rub in a spice/rub form.

We get asked a lot…how do you use the rub? You can use it on almost anything. If you are the carnivorous type, you’re gonna' LOVE it. You’re not going to be able to stop thinking about rubbing your meat. It is pretty darn great on seafood too. Nicole's favorite is rubbing her salmon. Vegan or vegetarian? No problem. This rub takes tofu and tempeh to another level. Put a tablespoon in some pan sautéed squash, or any other favorite veg to give it a little extra something. A Baker family favorite is oven roasted potatoes with olive oil, garlic, and sweet onion. Throw in 2 tablespoons of rub and you’ve got yourself a side dish to challenge all side dishes.

Nicole is from Louisiana and grew up with her Grandfather cooking on his custom black iron pit every weekend, that he welded himself. The flavors of this rub transport her back to standing barefoot in the grass over that hot pit next to him. Amy was born and raised in the Greater Tampa Bay area, but her story wasn't much different from Nicole's. She had a Dad that cooked every single weekend for the masses on the same kind of grill for their epic pool parties (it was the 80's). She learned all of Dad's good ole' boy grill tactics, and that brings us to her current status as Baker’s Rub very own spice master. She has clocked some hours in the kitchen and behind the grill perfecting her custom rub to be, as the fairy tales say,…just right. 

The common denominator they both experienced was love, good food, and fellowship. Each bag of Baker's Rub is bursting with nostalgia and love for your taste buds and tummy. It is up to you to provide the fellowship. But, if you feed them, they will come…especially if it’s Baker's Rub.
